It is one of the most significant types of bullying, harassment, and humiliation today, with more women than males suffering from it. In today's world, it is tough to appreciate your body without making an effort, and getting there can take years. Many obstacles must be overcome before one can feel compassion, acceptance, and finally love for one's body.

Perhaps they are emboldened by the anonymity of the Internet; most body-shamers would probably not say such hurtful things if they were speaking to the person in person. So learn to love your body more.
